  • I am not all that familiar with the Bible. Could someone tell me if the 3 days of darkness spoken of is related to the Great Flood?
There Is No Such Thing As 'Sede Vacantism'...
nor is there such thing as a 'Feeneyite' or 'Feeneyism'

May I suggest that you become familiar with it. It is of some significance to Catholics, and to all of mankind for that matter. Get yourself a concordance to go with it It is on line here:  http://www.drbo.org/

My understanding of the great flood is that it was darkness forever for those who went under the water.
Help of Christians, guard our land from assault or inward stain,
Let it be what God has planned, His new Eden where You reign.

  • There actually are biblical references to the 3DD.

Keep in mind that history repeats itself, and these prophecies can speak about our time as well. The end of the 5th age of the church. Scripture is not only literal, it can be taken to mean multiple things for just one verse, and Old Testament Israel can be taken to mean the church of today because we are the new Israel. Egypt can be considered the world, and the Israelites the church.

    Joel 2:30-32
    Quote
And I will shew wonders in heaven; and in earth, blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke.

[31] The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood: before the great and dreadful day of the Lord doth come. [32] And it shall come to pass, that every one that shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved: for in mount Sion, and in Jerusalem shall be salvation, as the Lord hath said, and in the residue whom the Lord shall call.

    Exodus 10:21-23

    Quote
And the Lord said to Moses: Stretch out they hand towards heaven: and may there be darkness upon the land of Egypt, so thick that it may be felt. [22] And Moses stretch forth his hand towards heaven: and there came horrible darkness in all the land of Egypt for three days. [23] No man saw his brother, nor moved himself out of the place where he was: but wheresoever the children of Israel dwelt there was light.

    Apocalypse (Revelation) 6:12
    Quote
And I saw, when he had opened the sixth seal, and behold there was a great earthquake, and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair: and the whole moon became as blood:

    Daniel 10:2-3

    Quote
in diebus illis ego Daniel lugebam trium hebdomadarum diebus [3] panem desiderabilem non comedi et caro et vinum non introierunt in os meum sed neque unguento unctus sum donec complerentur trium hebdomadarum dies

The Latin is more accurate than the Douay for Daniel 10.
