  • An ancient rite of the Church, dating back to the year 700, allowed to continue to exist under Quo Primum, was the Mozarabic/Visigothic rite. This is some of their chant.

  • Loved it!
If anyone says that true and natural water is not necessary for baptism and thus twists into some metaphor the words of our Lord Jesus Christ" Unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Spirit" (Jn 3:5) let him be anathema.

  • Music from the Rite of Braga (Portugal). Another rite allowed to continue by Quo Primum.

  • The Archbishop of Toledo, Don Braulio Rodríguez Plaza, has signed a decree creating a diocesan delegation to the Hispano-Mozarabic Rite, which will deal with improving the celebrations, to encourage the study and dissemination and to foster a deeper spirituality of this rite.

Fascinating sound!  Is this Catholic or considered schismatic?  I refer to a St. Isodoro San Leandro Church in Manhattan.
St. Francis Xavier threw a Crucifix into the sea, at once calming the waves.  Upon reaching the shore, the Crucifix was returned to him by a crab with a curious cross pattern on its shell.

This is Western Orthodox, which means it's within the Latin Church. You could go there, but there's this thing about having to remain in your own rite unless you get a dispensation from your bishop.

Since the newchurch of the novus ordo's bishops are questionably professing the Catholic Faith, I wouldn't be afraid, personally, of going there, without such a dispensation. It's a legitimate rite of the Church.

Improving what? Like what they did with the Novus Ordo? If I were the Mozarab/Visigoths I would tell the newchurch to keep their improvements to the "improved ordinary form" of the "latin rite."

It could be something as simple as improving the quality of music that is sung. It could be that the priests, deacons, and the altar servers are better prepared. It is the same thing with the TLM. If more priests knew how to say it then there could be a wider diffusion of the TLM.
