This shadow on the Superstition Mountains, Apache Junction, AZ, the cougar,
only appears twice a year for approximately a week just as the sun is setting.

This amazing phenomenon, now called the ‘sun dog’ (parhelion), occurs
just a few degrees above the horizon when the sun takes on this incredible
corona with two solar images. Above we see the three suns that soon merge
into one, described by some as a divine type of the three distinct persons that
are the one God.
‘Sevenfold sun miracle or seven sun dogs which were seen in our skies on
Sexagesima Sunday, 20th of February of the year 1661 from 11 o’clock until
after 12 o’clock.’--- Observed by many in Danzig and described by the astronomer
Johannes Hevelius (1611-1687) to pastor Georg Fehlau of St. Mary’s church.

Yes it is amazing, I saw 3 of these in my life. Most recently about a month ago.

That last one is something else. I just saw a program not too long ago about how nobody truly understands lightning, what it is and how it works. Nor do I think that the conventional explanation of rainbows is very satisfactory. Here we have both, evidently interracting somehow.

Reminds me of the Miracle of the Sun at Fatima.
