My most recent article delves into the British government's anti-terrorism report, which declared that reading Tolkien and C.S. Lewis leads to "right-wing radicalization." I investigate why Tolkien threatens modern society and why the government should be worried about citizens reading The Lord of the Rings.

  • The answer to the question is unfortunately not.

It's a shame because just about everyone has read the LOTR

  • Certainly not.

Just look at those horrible Hobbit Jackson movies. He has probably read the books way more than once, and he came up with a ridiculous left wing movie. They even had to create a female hero, since the book had none.

Arwen saving Frodo is when I left the theatre never to watch any more of the Jackson travesty. Tampering with Tolkien's text is akin to , in analogia entis kind of way, to tampering with Holy Writ! If I had a copy of the movies, I would send them to bonfire after blasting the Hobbit out of them! :cowboy:
