Spot on. I find the Susan B. Anthony types more dangerous, because they are taken seriously by women who wouldn't give a "radical" feminist the time of day.

Quote from: Raoul76
Feminism is the most underrated, underreported part of the Apostasy.  The rebellion of women has a MAJOR part to play in all this.

I think that "feminism" as a political movement gets too much attention, because there is a way to be a feminist without being a militant cigar-chomping French female philosopher.  There are nicer women who aren't aware they are feminists but don't accept the role God created for them, and so they are accidentally feminists.  Just following the customs of the time will have that effect.

What we are seeing in the world today is a "feminine flight," feminine fantasy become reality.  Women are living lives they could never have had before, and it is because the Church has been weakened.  For a man to become a lawyer is a burden and responsibility; for a woman it is a novelty, they get to show off their legs and look intellectual and powerful at the same time, just like that Ally McBeal on TV!  ( Caution:  In case this makes you want to look up Ally McBeal, I just did and the skirts are a lot shorter than I remembered... Yikes!  )

What it really is is unbridled witchcraft.  The women of today would look like mannish, witchy vulgarians to Catholic women of the past.  And even if they don't know it, they are driven by defiance.  Just try to grab one of these career girls, even a "nice" one or one who isn't politicized, and try to make her kneel before the Sacrament.  I'll bet the very thought of humbling herself before a higher power, not to mention a MALE GOD, would make her flinch inside; no humility.  They are too driven by ambition and their own selves.

Does anyone know of a traditional Catholic woman who is a doctor or lawyer?  Seems unlikely.

 :applause:  Couldnt agree more Raoul!
Good priests are telling the faithful about the role of women.
Woman have to be taught also by their mothers to be Marylike.  Mary was hidden, humble and very quiet.
You can teach your girls this, but if they are in public schools and go on to secular colleges, this teaching is all undermined!

Mary would have also been a tigress if someone had attacked the Lord in his youth.....

We know nothing about the youth of Christ.  However, Mary stood SILENTLY and perserveringly and watched the sufferings of Her son  all thru His Passion and death.
