    I so much agree with the heading, "Alan Gilbert was right."

    I have often been in situations where someone's cell phone went off.  At least, however, they usually have the good sense to turn it off or step outside of the room.

    Not turning cell phones off, or at least setting them to vibrate only, in a setting like this is so irresponsible and inconsiderate.  The same thing can be said about folks who do the same thing in church.

    As you wrote, the specific incident is both outrageous and humorous.
