Good links. This was already the safest genre for Catholics to listen to, good to see artists actively recognizing that Catholics are fleeing to this genre.

It's fine imo. I'd call it ambient. I have a guitar effects processor that has a looper built in. I've done similar stuff just messing around, layering parts over a drone.
