Can you recommend any authors of Catholic historical fiction?  Someone along the lines of Louis de Wohl?

Sigrid Undset, Catherine of Siena

She converted to Catholicism in 1924 and received the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1928 for her historical fiction Kristen Lavransdatter. She credits her research into medieval times as one of the reason for her entering the Church in 1924. She was a third order Dominican.
