It's a 1950s catechism geared towards converts and young adult Catholics. If you've read it, I would appreciate any comments.

No, it was revised recently to reflect changes from V2. I bought 2 copies not realizing it had been revised. I don't have them anymore otherwise I could give you the date of the revision.

I've seen this book recommended many times. The updates were done in 2002 by the original TAN Books, so they're probably debatable at worst.

I read about a third of it and stopped. I was not happy with changes and parts of the bible taken out of context. I am reading Bible History by Laux and I am very happy with it. I have the hard back and it is vintage and I compared it to Tan's paper back and they are the same as far as I can tell.

I recommend it. I also recommend it to my friends and family, if they are interested more in the Faith.

It's a good introductory catechism written in an easy-to-read style.
