Today I found on youtube a 3-hour movie on Padre Pio, in English.  It was very interesting in that I didn't know much about him myself.  It was 3 hours but came in part 1 and part 2.  The movie showed the modernism of the priest who complained about his pious behavior and how many higher ups did not believe him.  Padre Pio accused his accuser of putting microphones in his confessional box, can you imagine that.  Just because they wanted to prove he was lying.  

I remember reading a book about him when I was in high school how God worked a miracle through him.  A blind girl who was born without pupils was able to see.  This miracle was talked about in part 2 of the movie but can easily be missed, he was reading a letter and mentioned it.

You might enjoy this movie Matto if you are still interested.  He died Sept, of 1968 according to the movie.
