VERY true to the novel. I highly recommend it for those who have and have not read the original. The novel is a masterpiece.

It is a ten part mini series in Russian with English subtitles.

There is also a BBC Radio dramatization of the book available on Youtube. I tried downloading the Dailymotion video, but subtitles are not embedded.
