Title: Acting talent
Post by: Matthew on November 16, 2025, 11:57:45 PM
I know most movies are garbage, and the rest are problematic. Nevertheless, there are some actors that actually had talent. You know, the kind that could actually act as several wildly different characters.

I saw this movie when it came out in the 90's, I still haven't seen it recently, but I found this clip on Youtube.

The phrase "They don't make 'em like they used to" comes to mind.

I guess I like this clip due to the acting, as well as the interesting language (Jamaican Patois) they're speaking. Apparently the old lady in the wheelchair taught Brad Pitt how to speak this particular dialect.

Loved this movie.
Some good philosophy in it as well as a love story.

You're right, good acting is rare.

Here's how the rest of this sub story goes...
