A "little" church? I wasn't expecting to see a cathedral. Beautiful and glorious. I'd love to see the inside. Thanks for sharing a bit of our Catholic history from America's heartland.
That Gothic style Church sure stands out. To bad that thereare no interior photos.Reminds me of old St James in Redondo Beach,Ca., thatwas replaced with a more modern structure in 1957.

Thanks for sharing a bit of our Catholic history from America's heartland. Yes, the inside is glorious. More impressive than the outside. It's not a large church. The town has never had more than a few hundred people. It's 8 miles from my grandmother's house. She goes to the Basilica in her town, which is also nice.

If you need in sometime, just knock on the Rectory next to the church. At midnight the bells in the tower should ring. They got new kneeling pads several years ago, so things should be in good shape, although, they have had financial problems over the past 10 years.
