My insistence that you demonstrate comprehension of the articles you linked.

For some reason, I have the sense that you will declare me to be dishonest and incompetent and arrogant or what have you unless I demonstrate that I am competent in physics at a level that would qualify me to be employed as a physicist in a modern institution.  Obviously I am not qualified for that; I study history, politics, philosophy, and theology in my spare time and have an interest in physics insofar as it relates to my other interests and to the advancement of the Faith.  Since my acceptance of your accreditation process would also subject my case's entire credibility to your say-so, naturally I refuse your challenge.  

The point of dispute is ultimately at the level of principles, namely what the means by which reliable knowledge is accuмulated are and who has the authority to establish a definitive judgment of facts.  I do not believe that one needs to be accepted by the so-called "scientific community" to comment on the content it produces and declares to be factual.  I do not believe that self-appointed bourgeois professionals with an historic ideological animus and career interest opposed to the Faith possess the authority to establish definitive judgments of facts.  I don't simply mean this metaphysically, I also mean this at the social level, or, to use the more classical word, the political level.  In a word, I see them as upstarts, usurpers whose comeuppance is as inevitable as the Sun will rise in the East and revolve above the earth tomorrow.

"How many people today believe that it has been scientifically (experimentally) demonstrated that the earth rotate on its axis once every 24 hours and revolves around the sun in 365 days?"



Unfortunately the sound quality is terrible and I can barely hear about half of the words. When 20% of the words are inaudible, it makes for difficult listening.

Someone answers this question but I can't understand him.  Then Delano says it was an excellent answer, but he doesn't repeat it, so I have no idea what was excellent about it.

At minute 28:30 Delano says several things that appear to be really important, but he fairly WHISPERS them, and they are therefore not knowable.  So the important message is deliberately obfuscated.  (?)   :confused1:

Delano seems to be trying to give a dramatic delivery but it doesn't work when we can't hear the words he's whispering.  It's not 'drama' when it's not audible.  



Did anyone make a transcript of these talks?
Is the third talk, by Sungenis, still missing?

I was watching the sun today as it was setting and thought, it really does change our view of things, when we realize that the big orange ball is orbiting us.  We really are the center of the universe!  And everything kind of does revolve around us!  Not like a teenager who's self-centered and all that, but in a healthy way, we come to see the way life really is.  Talk about a cure for low self-esteem!  

ChurchMilitant.TV "Mic'd Up" series episode "Is Earth the Center of the Universe?" will start in about 4 hours.
