  • This morning I met a Novus Ordo priest friend of mine. After exchanging pleasantries I moved away and he called out: How's the reconciliation going?
It's a done deed, Father: I called back

I turned and went back to him.

Father, when all this started the New Mass was bad, the Second Vatican Council was bad, and the bad spirit of this same council had caused a crisis in the Church. Two of our new generations have been brought up on a diet of only the Latin Mass. Now, everything is fine, and Fellay is on a Roman holiday, perhaps awaiting a Roman posting. How does he compare with our politicians? I asked him.

He smiled and said: You have been taken for a ride!

  • I would have loved to hear an elaboration on that.

This priest has made the acquaintance of various visiting SSPX priests over the years. I have heard him say to an SSPX priest that he does not at all believe that there is a crisis in the Church. So now we have this organization that has preached of a Crisis in the Church to it's followers, in the meantime building up a portfolio of real estate and monetary instruments, all paid for by the laity, now doing a complete u-turn!

  • I think what was meant here, is if perhaps there was inside information regarding being taken for a ride.

  • Many, many years ago, a traditional women, R.I.P. told me that SSPX, takes the faithful out the front door of Vatican II, only to bring them right back in through the back door.

I had no idea what she meant, till now!
