A couple years ago, a husband and wife moved here from England. My wife runs a home daycare business and this couple contracted for services for their two children. The woman worked at a make-up counter at a local department store inside a large mall. She often dressed provocatively.

Well, we find out that they are in the process of divorce and actually get one. Her story is that the husband was having an affair and taking the two kids on dates with the liaison.

So, a year or so later she's still contracted for services but she has her live-in boyfriend picking up her children. He's a young man who wears really baggy basketball shorts (not African-American).

Is this woman an adulterous woman?

With the information provided (assuming everything is true) then the man is certainly an adulterer, and the woman is giving the impression that she is one and even if she isn't (though it seems likely that she is) she's causing scandal based on her living with another man. Are you confused?

I'm the original poster: She living with the boyfriend and engaging in conjugal activities.

Her husband, who she claims not only cheated on her but took the children on dates with his "alleged" girlfriends - we are getting this whole story from her and we all know how women tend to never see themselves in the wrong...

The husband was the one who was taking the children to church.

The woman was always dressing provocatively and you know how women who work at make-up counters are always flirting with any man.

Is she an adulterous woman?

Please site canon law or something from the saints or from the catechism so it's not just us going off our own opinion.

Canon law need not be cited. If a married person is in a romantic relationship with someone other than the person they're married to, they're committing adultery. It is very simple.

A woman with a husband still living who takes up with another man is an adulteress.

I suppose posters from Fisheaters might not know that.
