  • OK, i saw this story on Fox

I was waiting for the part where she threatens the guy but i didn't see it

I dont think the plane should have disrupted her life by kicking her off the plane.. just for expressing her dislike of Trump. I think she is politically stupid, but that doesn't nullify the Constitutional right to say whatever you want (as long as you are not shouting Fire in a theater and etc..)

I think Fox can be a little hypocritical?

I mean, you know.. they act like this 86-ing was a good thing... ? Well, that is the way i saw it anyway...

the punishment did not fit the crime as far as i could see.. I didn't see her threaten the guy

the guy is a Christian and won't press charges.. so good for him :)

  • First of all, why is this in the "Anonymous" section? I mean, honestly...if you're that afraid to risk ridicule because of a question pertaining to politics, don't even ask it.

Second, the woman didn't have the right to go on a harangue against the man. That's not "free speech," it's harassment. How would you like to be seated on a plane and the person next to you started with anti-Catholic statements? Would that be protected under "free speech?" The woman was causing a disturbance, plain and simple, and she behaved as a typical leftist: Ask a question with foreknowledge that she'd disagree with the answer, react angrily and with condescension, be called out on it, play the victim ("He's in my space"), then deflect (in this case, by suddenly remembering her poor mother-in-law, who had died). No, the "lady" received exactly what she deserved. The worst part of the video, though, is that her husband sat there silently like a typical emasculated, limp-wristed, whipped leftist "man." Pathetic.
"This principle is most certain: The non-Christian cannot in any way be Pope. The reason for this is that he cannot be head of what he is not a member. Now, he who is not a Christian is not a member of the Church, and a manifest heretic is not a Christian, as is clearly taught by St. Cyprian, St. Athanasius, St. Augustine, St. Jerome, and others. Therefore, the manifest heretic cannot be Pope." -- St. Robert Bellarmine

  • Why anonymous, indeed? The OP, just in the last day, increased her posts in the anonymous section from  71%  to 75%.

  • People who have no idea about constitutional law and tradition need to stop yelling about "free speech" when the clearly have no idea what that phrase actually means.  The Free Speech Clause does NOT mean you get to say whatever you want, whenever you want, without repercussions.  All it means is that, most of the time, the GOVERNMENT cannot punish you because of what you say.  Private individuals and companies and free to do whatever they want.  In this case, a private airline didn't want to deal with the possibility of an unruly passenger in the air, and told her to leave.  Same thing when Matthew bans someone from CI.  Perfectly legal, and has nothing to do with "free speech."

it is you who do not seem to have a clue. There are plenty of us who know what you have written here. And we still say that people should have freedom--imagine that

All OP says is that the airline should not have kicked her off and caused her to miss her flight just b/c of what she SAID. They didn't even give her a chance to apologize and simmer down.. Again, so much for freedom

I think it was a stupid thing to do. It will cause Dems to maybe not have such a great attitude toward Alaska Airlines.. And it will only make the reasonable Dems in the country think that the Rs are hypocrites. It is not doing anything to unite our country... petty and childish

You're a lunatic.  The woman was verbally assaulting the man for no reason at all, demanded that HE be moved, and then refused the obey the directions of the flight staff.  That isn't "freedom" by any stretch of the imagination.  If anything, it is criminal behavior.

Why should she be given time to simmer down?  She already delayed the flight because of her actions, and now it should have been delayed longer because she cannot control herself?  Ridiculous.

"Petty and childish" describes the old hag in the video and you, not the airlines.

He never taught us to love stupidity. So when are you going to wipe the dust from your feet?

  • Airlines have rules for proper behavior.

There are signs out there that say "No Shoes, No Shirt.  No Service"

It's the way it is and adults need to act like adults.

Freedom of speech (I think the OP means the First Amendment) means that government shall not restrict speech.  Private entities are free to establish their own rules and that means that private businesses have freedoms also and being allowed to chose to toss an unruly customer is perfectly acceptable.
