  • The thread t i t l e is self-explanatory. I nominate StCeciliasGirl. She's funny, witty, and makes a lot of good points.

  • Graham and Mithrandylan (it's pretty dry humour for both of them most of the time, but I think it's hilarious).

  • Graham is more often serious, but can be very funny when he wants to be.

  • I think SBJ is funny because he always must quote canon law or moral theology to make his point.

Good choice. I thought I was the only one who picked up on her good humor.

  • Telesphorus has a reputation for being a brooder and a grump. But he probably makes me laugh more than anyone here. I love his biting sarcasm.

roscoe's another funny one, though with him I'm never 100% sure if it's intentional or not.

Mithrandylan has a clever kind of humor.

SJB is not funny but he is smart, logical and a man who clearly loves the Church and its theology.  I can excuse his lack of sense of humor considering all the other good things about him.

  • Mith's sense of humor has always cracked me up. Over the past year he's posted a couple things that have made me burst out with laughter, and countless things that have warranted a chuckle or smirk.

It's true, Mater does have a charming humour about her.

Tele certainly has a fair amount of wit but often you must be witty yourself to catch it! I've no doubt too often it has gone right over my head. Same goes for Graham.

France's has made me laugh out loud 3 times today.

    Napoli. He's an amiable fellow.

  • I second Bernadette.  I like Catechist99 too.  Would be nice if Needleduck would come on over to CI.  They would be a wonderful threesome:  intelligent and witty.

Telesphorus is sometimes so pessimistic, he's funny.  I always get along with the grumpiest old man who hangs around the coffee and donuts after Mass.  Of course, Tele may be young.  I don't know.
St. Francis Xavier threw a Crucifix into the sea, at once calming the waves.  Upon reaching the shore, the Crucifix was returned to him by a crab with a curious cross pattern on its shell.
