  • Wife has resorted to name calling me today. I thought she was getting better, but no, she is becoming more abusive. I have setup an appointment to see a priest. Obviously it will be just me going because that's out of the question for her currently.
Oh no! Not name calling! Anything but that!

You’ve got to try to get to the bottom of her anger.  What’s she really mad about?  Frustrated that the baby is too much work?  Frustrated that the baby has changed the marriage dynamic?  Frustrated that she’s just tired?  Frustrated that she can’t see her friends/family as often with a new child?  Feels isolated?  This all goes way deeper than defrosting meat.  You gotta figure it out.

  • I think the meat on the floor thing is made up. Sorry for not believing story, but that is the conclusion I've come to.

  • I second that.  Just a made up story to make women seem unreasonable.

  • 99% of the rest of the wife's actions are horrible.  And quite common.

Are you projecting? If not, then why do you feel offended?

I don't know why women feel the need to defend their entire gender if one woman is acting poorly.

Women-power and the sisterhood are feminist brainwashing that most women don't even realize they have accepted.

It's never one thing. Learning to control your anger is the right way forward me thinks. How you handle conflict. How to refrain from saying or doing something you will later regret.

100% true. I think the reason some users find these posts hard to believe is because they don't understand cultural differences which is what causes a lot of confusion.

Sinful human nature and feminism explain why the wife threatens to call the police and divorce her husband.  Not cultural differences.

People of all cultures can go to hell because they destroy their own marriage.

  This thread is about a particular husband n wife.  It has nothing to do with other women.

But if some women don't like the comments about the wife in this thread, then they must feel guilty.  As the old saying goes, if the shoe fits...

:fryingpan: I’m not married, but I don’t think I’d feel guilty about defrosting meat on the floor. It’s not a sin, but opposed to common sense, especially if you have a dog or a cat!

Not what this thread is about.
