  • Ironic, Croix telling someone to get a life. :jester: A man who has a handful of accounts at all times so he is never deprived of the forum.

I’ll pray for you. You are seriously unwell.
Funny thing is I'm not Croix. So you're the one who is crazy if you think everyone replying to you is Croix. I have a good feeling who you are lady. Oh you'll pray for me, don't be manipulative.

  • Many of these Trad-feminists don't like being challenged and called out for their liberalism, so they're blaming Croix.    What they should be doing, is some self-reflection and prayer.

Yeah, but should be ok though, just make sure the women quit defrosting the burgers on the floor already. :fryingpan:

:laugh2:  Do kids just love you, Seraphina? I think my kids would love you to come and cook them supper with all your playful antics!
Religion clean and undefiled before God and the Father, is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their tribulation: and to keep one's self unspotted from this world.

  • Agree.  Horrible advice.  Canon law doesn’t allow separation except for extreme cases and with a priest's guidance.
What's the point of asking for advice anymore now? Leaving is prob the only available advice left. Wife refused meeting with a priest, refused seeing doctor, refused stopping her behaviour, nothing about her family or friends involvement seems to be an option, and husband refused to get out of it so that both of them can reflect? What else do you want any of us to say?
And somehow OP think it's better to ask men instead of women for opinions now, where all they say is "you need to man up and teach her xyz".
And how is it kicking the husband out when it was the husband taking charge and leaving her was suggested.
I dont know how the Church will oppose to temporary separation when it can be like a retreat where they can both calm down, reflect, pray and repent. It seems to me that's what they need. Also imo a chaotic household with nonstop quarrels is worse than single parents for the children.

There has been some good advice on this thread.  Yours was not.

Don't question the Church's rules.  She's been dealing with marital problems from day 1.

Get the belt out. That would have "fixed" this "marital problem" real quick with women being in their place like it's been in the past.

  • I just want to say I've noticed some slight changes with my wife lately thanks to the grace and mercy of God. Slowly but surely. Please pray for us and our son. I referenced from Ephesians 5 that wives be subject to their husband in all things. She thought this was a muslim way of thinking. Then I told her it was from the bible. no comment

So in other words.  This man the OP, who is having trouble with his wife, needs to call her bluff and "man up".  It means he should not cater to her whims anymore.  If she orders him to do something, he should ignore it.  He may risk her leaving, or it might just turn out like the "Taming of the Shrew"

    Good luck OP.
