They were more distant from Rome, and Protestantism originated there.

There were huge spoils available. It was a very tempting situation.

There have been Catholic enclaves in Northern Europe that survived. Germany's lack of unity and the fact that the "Reformation" got its start there made it harder to control the spread of Protestantism.

There was a time during the Thirty Years War, near the beginning, when the Habsburgs were in big trouble, and it looked like the Protestants might take control of Austria.

And there were strong Protestant movements in France, Poland, Hungary, etc.

People are waking up, albeit slowly.
Take away their jobs and houses and people then become angry, as the Germans did.

Many will have alot to answer for in the coming years...priests & clergy, media figures, politicians, banksters, Medical community, Judges, secret society members, other shills and enemies of GOD.

People dismissed the warnings as they were comfortable. Now peop-le are nervous and getting news from alternate unedited sources, or watching it unfold as it happens on Youtube.

Its over for the establishment. Many will be accosted, assaulted, or fearful to go out in public, as they should. And its just getting started, imo.

Many of the Northern Countries such as the Scandinavian ones were converted latter than the rest of Europe. The were also not part of the Roman Empire, so Christianity did not really reach those countries until the 9th-10th centuries.

That said, the populace of these countries were to some extent compelled to join Lutheranism by the Magistrates, Princes, and Kings, and it would not surprise me if, like England, Catholicism was banned in these countries more so for political reasons than religious.

YOu give people too much credit.
Most people are STUPID.

Italians are very cyncial. Greeks too.
They saw treachery on behalf of politicians, clergy and government for centuries.

Peasants are easily manipulated, and Jєωs worked that to their advantage in Germany. And it spread.
The one heresy the Church could not contain.
They were conceited and didnt take Luther seriously, nor the Jєωs it would appear.

Americans have short memories, our nation being only 200 years old.
We too, are stupid, as a nation.
