Why all the negative anti-women and anti-Jєω posts lately?

    • Just want to say there have been a LOT of anti-women and anti-Jєωιѕн posts lately, which is not normal for this site.  It could be that liberals and/or a few CIA agents are bored and want to attack the true message of catholicism - by making this site appear "hateful" or "backwards".  (Don't think that doesn't happen).

    Just a word of caution to the many, many on here who I know are true catholics...don't engage in these topics.  Just ignore them and they'll go away.  The less talk, the less opportunity there is for posts to be taken out of context.

    I'm posting this in the anonymous forum, since that seems to be the "hot" area to discuss everything recently.

    • I think one reason could be a poster using the name "budDude".  But I agree with you, PV, it does seem like anti-Catholic trolling.  And I agree people should stop feeding the Troll.  

    And frankly, I think Matthew ought to ban him.

    • To the anonymous poster who posted a lengthy article...this is not a "win-lose" situation.  That is, if women win, then men lose. 

    That is not how Catholicism works.  That's a False dicotomy that doesn't make sense.  

    Catholics hate feminism but don't hate women. Catholics hate communism but don't hate the poor.  Catholics hate Zionism but don't hate Jєωs.

    • They are not liberals or CIA trying to detract from Catholicism.  The trads do that well enough by themselves.  They latch on to any piece of garbage online and adopt it for 3 reasons,  its to justify their own actions, it's to posture to show moral superiority, or its to proport an unseen villian in the background instead taking responsibility for our own actions

    It's easy to forget to tick that box!  This is a good site, by the way.  I recently got suspended from the Catholic Answers forum for airing some of my anti-JP2 views.  There is freedom of speech here - I don't agree with some of the points of view, but at least one gets a fair go and can express oneself.

    Many rightly complain of the overuse and abuse of the Anonymous Section. There is a need for it when 'anonymity" is essential, but then most of us are anonymous even when we go by our CathInfo name.

    Catholics are not only called by their very baptism to detest sin and the devil, but also Catholics must pray for and love sinners. Agreed, this is very difficult, but we Catholics must pray for the grace to love our enemies.
