Over time, you and your family will come to get more comfortable with Vatican II. It will slowly cease to be the horrible monster THAT IT ACTUALLY IS.

You will certainly come to forget that the Church is in a horrible Crisis. After all, if you can have your Latin Mass every Sunday with the permission of Rome, what's all the fuss about? Those "Traditionalists" -- what's their problem?

I must disagree.  Me and mine have attended FSSP for five years or more.  The problems stemming from Vatican II are more apparent than ever for us.  Pope Francis, in fact, has only served as an accelerant for just how aware the wife and I are to Modernist creep.

You're also on Trad internet sites daily. Is your FSSP priest keeping you up to speed on the pope's comments and actions or are you getting that info yourself?

Anyone who wonders "why not the FSSP?" need only to listen to Fr. Rodriguez's sermon which I posted yesterday and imagine hearing the same from your FSSP priest. Just within the past year the TLM has been taken from the Franciscans of the Immaculate and from Fr. Rodriguez. There's no guarantee that it won't happen to the FSSP and odds are not in their favor.

There is an important difference between the Franciscans of teh Immaculate and the FSSP. The Franciscans of the Immaculate were founded as a Novus Ordo community. It was only after Summorum Pontificuм that they became interested in the TLM. As to their internal problems we only know what someone with an axe to grind wants us to know.
The FSSP however was founded with the TLM as an integral part of their charism. To take the TLM away from them would be a violation of the spirit of Vatican 2 which in Perfectae Charitatis told the religous communities that they were to study the charisms of their founders and to be faithful to those founding charisms.

I wonder how an FSSP priest would react if you went to him in confession and confessed going to a Novus Ordo Mass as a sin.

I once confessed to a Novus Ordo priest that I had eaten meat on Friday. He asked, "Where ya been? That's not a rule anymore." I said, "But some form of Friday penance is still required, Father." He said, "Oh, right."

Using "Pope Francis" and "Modernist creep" in the same sentence is just too funny.
