what words do you hate? (dont have to have a valid reason, you just hate them)

Here is my list (first one on the list is brought to you by a poster here but can't recall which one)

fuss or fussy (I LOATHE those words... not sure why... but hate them)
peek (as in "take a peek".. Please!)
offensive (the word has become virtually meaningless)

There are others but can't conjure them up from the old gray matter @ this t ime

hmmm... that word sounds rather neutral to me
here's one i don't like: needs. LOL
it's just so over-used.. not that I  liked it  b4 it seemed over-used.
I hate when someone uses it to describe... sex-related stuff.. Give me a break. You need clothing and shelter and food and Jesus. You don't need sex
which is another word i hate
sex

I don't like the words "treat" or "yummy" . I don't know why, they just really bug me. I inwardly cringe when I hear someone describe  a food or an event as " a real treat". Or say that something looks so "yummy".  Not rational, I know.

Traditional Catholics when referring to people who do not agree and go along with Vatican II teachings (heresies). We are not Traditional Catholics, we are Roman Catholics. People who go along with Vatican II changes can call themselves whatever they want, but Roman Catholic.

Yes "traditional Catholic" is tautology. But sometimes the need is there to use it. I try to avoid its overuse. If you are truly Catholic you love tradition.

"So", at the beginning of e.g. a new thread here, without any antecedent. But it's more the inappropriate use than the word itself.

barf

There are some words I don't like that actually do not have such a nefarious meaning as those words do, but I can't think of them @ this time

the p word used to describe excrement is really, really bad.. worse than the word crap, worse than excrement. I mean, really, why do we need such a stupid sounding word?

Humongous
Whatever when it means "who cares?"

Not so much the word but its miss-use, as in this sentence:
I found out like two months later.
