What Jesus in the Real Presence "told me" about Trump

  • Trump was not my first choice for president. In fact, I found things in his past life very distasteful and disturbing. But then I looked @ Hillary and even though I did momentarily wonder which to choose.. well, Trump boldly declared that he is pro-life.

Shouldn't that be the end of it for all those who criticize him (meaning those who consider themselves Christians)?

But then there is this: In the Real Presence one time, it seemed that Jesus was telling me, He isn't that bad... It seems I was shown that he was not only "not that bad" but just may be the "right one" for the job.

    Jesus knows best

Jesus is still in the Church... even though many Catholics have left, mentally or physically or both

  • You must have been in the Novus Ordo real absence. Jesus does not tell you who's the best bet in an election.

  • Did Jesus also tell you that two divorces and three wives weren't that big a deal?

  • There is so much more to politics than just a pro-life stance.  Trump, who took a pro-choice stance his whole life, decided to run on the republican ticket and announced that he is pro-life.  Take a deeper look in past presidents.  George Bush was reportedly pro-choice as a governor in Texas but his wife was pro-life.  That all changed as he was grooming himself for a presidential run.  Politician will say what is needed for votes.  While I am repulsed by abortion, my vote hasn't changed it.  All votes since Roe v Wade hasn't changed it.  Basing your vote though on the myopic view of one policy isn't practical.

PS Jesus didn't take the wheel on this one and tell you to vote for Trump.  That was the monologue that's in your own head.

I have sinned myself, so how can I judge (meaning: condemn)?
Jesus said not to judge (He probably meant: condemn?) people. I am happy to see you have not ever sinned. Good for you

    who cares?
He said--before  God and everyone else--that  he is PRO LIFE. People were saying over and over that there are mor pro-abortion folks in the country than pro-life... Either he didn't care b/c he has truly repentd of the pro-abortion yrs... or he realized that that was not/is not true... or some other motivation known only to God
    Who cares?
He is pro life. Hillary was not. If a candidate does not  get the most important issue right (literally that of life and death), we should never trust him/her with any of the other ones
