What Happened at ICC Post Falls On Palm Sunday?

  • I was just wondering from our ICC members if there was a cross bearer for the procession.  Part of the Palm Sunday procession/ceremony is for the cross bearer to use the base of the post to knock on the door of the Church to be let in after the procession.  Was it done?

    This is not part of the 1962 rubrics, even though the SSPX retained the practise from the pre-1955 Holy Week.

    That's from the pre-1955 rubrics which is still followed by many SSPX chapels worldwide.
