What constitutes a sexless marriage and what do you do about it? Is it just me or do wives not put out much these days. Seems not putting out is an intentional move to end a marriage. no matter how hard I try to improve our situation, I'm just the default asshole. no matter what. why would any man want this?

I guess the best answer would be to accept this cross and focus on your spiritual life. I have thought about this issue and truly believe that as men in marriage we are called to be like Saint Joseph. If your cross is accepted willingly, it will lead you to Heaven and it may help to save your wife's soul who is heading towards hell by her behavior.

How's your personal hygiene? Especially of the dental variety? No woman desires intimacy with a poster-child for trenchmouth. It amazes me how some men who obviously shower and deodorize every day, and take care in their dress and personal grooming show little attention to their oral hygiene. This is just as big a show-stopper for wives as extra poundage is for husbands, if not more so.

Not trying to be mean, but I have this in confidence from a wife for whom this has been a very off-putting issue. I can see how it would be. I am only relating this because it is a delicate subject that wives may not make known for fear of angering or embarrassing their husbands.

If oral hygiene, or any hygiene for that matter is holding up the wife from wanting to be intimate with her husband, I think it's the best thing to do to tell her husband gently. It's up to him how he handles it. A husband should not be angered by this.

My husband knows that I am not at all interested if he comes home sweaty and stinky. He'll take a shower before even thinking about propositioning. I'll also tell him if his breath is bad. He'll go brush his teeth and all will be well. No big deal on either of our ends.

If that's your attitude, I can understand why your wife is turned off to you.
