  • At the outset, I attend SSPX chapels, as well as other independent chapels.  Never novus ordo.  (Flame of White is one of my favorite books)

How can +L be validly ordained if Ab Liénart was a notorious Freemason?

Moderator: Note that this is an anonymous person and is bringing up a charge that just WON'T DIE even though it has countless mortal wounds...

Long story short, it doesn't matter what Abp. Lienart's intentions were. There were 2 other co-consecrators, so if only ONE of them had the correct intention, +Lefebvre would be successfully consecrated. The Church doesn't mess around with something as important as the consecration of a bishop. She doesn't leave such things up to chance.

These cursed schismatics will stop at nothing to "eliminate the competition" and entrench themselves as pope and king of their little corner of Traddiedom. With no other options, Catholics will be forced to acquiesce to their tyranny. May God have mercy on these lost souls!

  • Here's a question I have to ask you, OP:

Why do you subscribe to Donatism? A Freemason, or anyone in mortal sin, can administer a valid sacrament when the items required are there.

Donatism is the belief that the validity of the Sacraments is dependent on the moral character or sanctity of who is administering it. A pretty decent number of Trads, at least from my experiences, subscribe to it. It's a grave heresy.

  • I would never dispute the fact that Lefevre was validly ordained.
Even if Ab. Lienart is a proven Freemason, and a secret enemy
    of the church.
I know of his death bed confession
The church covers all defects. As long as Ab. Lienart did what the
church does, it is a valid sacrament.
However, I am firm, I will never question the ordination was
    valid.
The question is whom in the Vatican selected Lienart to become a
bishop. I am sure in the high offices in the Vatican they are
capable of knowing the truth about every priest they want to
become a bishop. Perhaps freemasons were already in the
Vatican giving the Pope deliberate  bad advice.
The grounds for Vatican 2 and the appointment of so many
bad and unworthy bishops actually goes back to the 1800's.

  • This subject rears its ugly head every once in a while. I'll try to add some clarification with a couple of facts.

First, yes, Archbishop Lefevbre was ordained a priest by Leinart.

Second, even if he were a Freemason, he was made a bishop by not just Leinart, but TWO CO-CONSECRATORS. When one is made a bishop, they are given the FULLNESS OF ORDERS. What does this mean?

Let's read the exact words of consecration of a bishop. Hopefully this sinks in.

“Complete in Thy priest the fullness of Thy ministry, and adorned in the raiment of all glory,  sanctify him with the dew of heavenly anointing.”

This not only makes him a priest, it gives him more power than a priest. It gives him the FULLNESS OF THE PRIESTHOOD,not just part of it!

Why did the Church require two co-consecrators? Of course, because of a situation such as this.

Father Hector Bolduc (RIP), and Mr. Henry Beemster (RIP), years ago, offered a reward to these nincompoops that carried on this argument. They offered a large reward to anyone who could prove, first, that Leinart was a Freemason, ($25,000 at the time) and then another sum ($25,000 at the time) to prove why it mattered.

No one took them up on this.

Now, I'm going to show you something.

It is said that Archbishop Lefevbre asked for a blessing from Padre Pio, to which Padre Pio replied, "Me, bless an archbishop, no, no, it is you who should be blessing me!"

Surely, the one who charged Father Luigi Villa with exposing ecclesiastical Fɾҽҽmαsσɳɾყ, who EXPOSED THAT Fɾҽҽmαsσɳɾყ HAD "MADE IT INTO THE SHOES OF THE POPE!" (direct quote, by the way, was speaking of Paul the Sick  :barf: ) WOULD HAVE WARNED ARCHBISHOP LEFEVBRE THAT HE WAS A PRETENDER PRIEST AND BISHOP!

So, you see, this absolute MALARKEY about Archbishop Lefevbre being invalidly consecrated, and not a priest, et cetera, should be thrown in the dustbin FOREVER.
    Matthew 5:37

But let your speech be yea, yea: no, no: and that which is over and above these, is of evil.

  • This should never be in the Anonymous post section.
If I am not afraid to identify myself on this subject, why does
the author of this tread be anonymous.
If roscoe and others are saying that it is the question of the
sacrament of Holy Orders conferred on Lefevre  by Archbishop
    Lienart.
This question has been answered over and over again.  This
cease from bringing this subject up again.
Thanks for the picture of Padre Pio kissing the ring of Archbishop
    Lefevre, parentsfortruth.

The anonymous section is starting to be grossly overused.  I wish Matthew would create a "girlie-man sub-forum," and move posts that are posted anonymously simply due to lack of testes to such sub-forum.

  • **I** DID NOT CAST DOUBT ON THE VALIDITY OF +L!
Some docuмentation was presented to me that suggested he was not validly ordained.  THIS TROUBLED ME GREATLY and I had no one to discuss it with, so I came here to ask.  But knowing how nasty people can get, I chose to post anonymously.
I am not as intelligent or as holy as you, so I asked an honest question.  You provided a good answer, then proceeded to prove my point re: ugly comments.  Not that you care, but I'm saddened by your attack.

  • Let me guess. It was from David Hobson (A.K.A. The Hobgoblin)

If it was, please, stop listening to that libelous jerk.

Forgive me, ParentsForTruth, I thanked RomanCatholic1958 for YOUR answer, which put my mind and heart to rest.  God will certainly bless you, for He knows how much I was troubled.  I take great care to verify as much as I possibly can.  There's so much diabolical influence, pulling us to and fro.
