My father has been given a few months to live because of cancer progression. Moreover my wife & I recently separated (civil divorce) because of my conversion to Catholicism. There are kids involved and it’s a mess. My family and my wife’s family are both vehemently anti-Catholic. I am blamed for my father’s declining health, the ambiguous future of the kids, my wife’s personal struggles, and for many other matters.
I am also struggling financially to support myself and family, my contract with my current job is about to end, and I am trying to finish my degree while all of this is going on. I feel like I am going to implode. A lot of pressure is being put on me to revert to my family’s religion and I feel like I am starting to crack under all of the pressure.
Please pray for me. I am in desperate need of supernatural assistance and Graces.

STAND FIRM. You have many friends here assisting you with their prayers.

Sorry to hear that you are going through so much at once and with your family turning against you. Remember you are not alone! Your guardian angel is beside you.
May I ask what is your family's religion that makes them so anti-Catholic?

Please continue to keep me in your prayers.
I miss my wife and children very much.
I am in a very psychologically debilitating situation. I keep falling from the faith because of my desire to be back with my family and I am hardly able to preserve my faith from the constant attacks on it.
I feel wracked with guilt because I feel that I keep betraying God after he has guided me to the truth.

"Our" тαℓмυdic legal system throws its weight against Catholics. When it comes to matters of family law, a reconciliation is a good step. Of course, I am not suggesting that you compromise your faith, but bend over backwards to "make it work."

The devil’s attacks are usually psychological.
But that you have made the right choice in coming to the Catholic Church is certain and indisputable, and you can hang onto that knowledge as an anchor mooring a ship at bay (and this will dissipate some of the vehemence of the devil’s attacks).
Questions:
1) Where do you go to Church (SSPX, diocesan, new Mass, etc)?
2) How old are you and your wife?
3) How many children (and what are their ages)?
4) What line of work are you in?
5) How long ago did you convert?
6) Are any family on your side Catholic?
7) Your wife and children left you because you converted?

Thank you for your prayers and wonderful counsel.
I’m afraid that the questions are somewhat personal and I don’t know who reads the forum so please excuse me in not answering them.

I am praying for you daily and will not stop until this is resolved. Be assured that your Guardian Angel is pulling for you every second too. If you let Him, Christ will be closer to you than ever before. I would personally recommend spending time weekly at the very least in front of the Blessed Sacrament and finding refuge in Him. If you can go to daily Mass this will help strengthen you too.

I was thinking.. what religion are they?
If they are true to their own religion, wouldn’t divorce be a sin? Plenty of scripture to defend holy sacrament of marriage.

I suggest Fathers Radeki of Wayne, MI or his brother in CA. Dominic or Franseco. They are from a family split because of different faiths and torn family. Very sad. Go to www.traditio.com directory and find them there, for more info.

I have been praying for you daily. Please go to Holy Hour/Adoration if you can. A lot of times when I'm weary; in going to Adoration I can just kneel and be entirely at peace knowing He is right there with me. You know He desires you so much, do not give up, no matter what. This may be boilerplate or simplistic but this is what you need to hear and do.
