  • All my life, I seem to have been at crossroads. What I seek is what I lost as a child growing up in the pre-V2 church. I have sought God and have been guided by the Holy Spirit; learning along the way. I have seen error. I have witnessed confusion and disorder. I have questioned EVERYTHING. No one likes you to question.

When I seek an answer to something, I can never find it amongst earthly beings. God leads me to scripture, visions, dreams or reveals the stark truth abruptly. To move on, I seek guidance. No guidance comes. We have no shepherds here, alas. It has been a long, painful journey. I am not home. Yet they tell me the Holy, Catholic and Apostolic church is home. I see demons there. Just this week a grandma discussed with me the difficulties her daughter is having with arranging the baptism of her child yet to be born. It's been a difficult pregnancy and the demon/deacon is telling her she needs permission from her former parish (she moved) to baptize her child. Just what an expectant mom needs...red tape. I advised the family to perform an emergency baptism if it comes to that, that a priest is unavailable/unwilling to baptize. Lord, have mercy on us!

Yesterday, I had hoped to discuss this with my priest. What God showed me, as He has showed me upteenth time in the past, is that my priest is 'not available' for spiritual guidance. He is busy, always busy...we need more priests, godly priests.

I know of one, but he is EO. I believe I will abandon my berth in this church and sail away to another mooring, as I feel a storm coming and I want solid guidance.

  • Eastern Orthodox? I would suggest looking into the traditional Catholic groups instead of the Eastern Orthodox. There is the SSPX, the CMRI, and the SSPV. And there are many independent traditional Catholic priests also. You can find priests in your area on the internet.

  • I know parents who didn't go to Mass and then suddenly went to ask to have their child baptized at a Traditional church. Of course, the priest said that they would have to start attending Mass before he would baptize their child. They didn't like that so they quit going to Mass again. A couple years later they split up and now live miserable lives.

Happens all the time. Instead of blaming people whom they perceive to be demons, people should focus on walking in the ways of the Lord. They'd be a lot better off.

Needless to say, you probably aren't an inspired prophet with God sending you messages in your dreams telling you that everybody else is unholy.
