Nobody is immune by race. Only pure serendipity will determine the very, VERY few who are immune. Won't be much common cause between them either. Just something a little different about them that would take decades of research to figure out if ever.

It will rip through every nation eventually. Economies will crash and most systems of order will implode. Only one question to answer now: Will this make humans extinct? The virus itself doesn't have to do all the work. Nuclear facilities cooking off, Deadman switches activating resulting in nuclear launches and hundreds of different bioweapon releases. Labs abandoned and containment fails. We could get those follow up disasters with just a 20% fatality rate and any R0 north of 3.

It's obviously out. Not obvious yet is its fatality rate outside of China. Let me also clear up y'all's silly notion that fatality rate is a static function. If infections overwhelm capacity, that death rate can climb WAY up REAL fast.

At the VERY least, this is the start of the biggest economic depression in human history. That's if this virus just magically disappeared today. Enjoy the last of normal life or possibly any human life.

I have always believed that if "the living envied the dead", they must in some way see the dead as lucky to have died AND know the dead.  You don't envy a dead stranger in another land.  You envy a neighbour who has had the same thing you are suffering through ended by their death.

We have 1billion abortions and 50 years with no true sacrifice in 98% of masses.  Bishops and Cardinals are apostate.  God knows what we deserve in terms of His wrath.

Take time in your day to tell God that you love Him and ask him for the grace to help you to love Him more. This is all that really matters in the end.
