I've been unable to go to latin mass as I'm going through a high risk pregnancy, and travelling is harder. My closest latin mass is well over an hour away, usually have to take a bus and a train to get there - I should really make more of an effort really, but that's not the point im making.

Anyway, i've been attending my local novus ordo mass for the past month. 

I would listen to the priest sermons and I felt like he has no idea about the reality of Catholicism. He even quotes pope Francis on how we have been mean to the gαy community and should treat them with respect  :furtive:

Every week was just talking about the Gospel, and then talking about how much God loves us. Like every week "God loves us all so much"

I think it pressed my buttons the other week when he started talking about how God loves us and can't wait for us all to be in heaven with him and that one day we will all be in heaven ............ like its so easy for us all to get to heaven. 

I decided to write an annonymous e-mail to him, just listen saint quotes and apparitions on the fewness of those saved, and told him we need to work hard to get to heaven and that people aren't taught sin these days.

I went to mass at that church last Sunday to see if my e-mail flicked a switch in his soul.

His sermon was just "God loves us all so much"

This is what happens when you attend non-Catholic worship services.  You should not be surprised.

I hope your high risk pregnancy is not related to diabetes. There's too much "sweetness" in the NO for you. You need good solid food. 

I hope your pregnancy and the birth go well. Don't put yourself at risk. There are exemptions for Mass attendance and you may qualify. Check with your own priest.
