  • It's getting to be that time of year and Christmas will soon be upon us (yay!) but I'm almost out of cards - and it seems like hard work to find a nice card these days.  Anyone know where nice, beautiful, traditional Christmas cards can be purchased?

  • Didn't see a better section to start the thread.  Does it make a difference?

Maybe Catholics in the Modern World or the Catholic Bunker. As I understand it there is a General Section but posters were over using it so Matthew put some restrictions on it.

Similarly Matthew set some rules for Anonymous because many posters were misusing it for topics which did not need to be anonymous.

  • Last year I too was on the hunt for the perfect Christmas card.  I went to several stores - even a stationery store & a Catholic Book store & many other different stores to no avail.  Finally I tried Walmart & EUREKA!  I found a box of exquisite cards at a normal price.  Several people commented later on how beautiful they were.  Sadly they were made in China -  but then what isn't made in China these days?  I haven't started my hunt this year but I think I'll start at Walmart.

Walmart is still surprisingly decent with these things (something I never thought I would say). At least compared to other mega-retailers. I've found some nice Christmas cards at Walgreens in recent years too.
"Be not therefore solicitous for tomorrow; for the morrow will be solicitous for itself. Sufficient for the day is the evil thereof." [Matt. 6:34]

"In all thy works remember thy last end, and thou shalt never sin." [Ecclus. 7:40]

"A holy man continueth in wisdom as the sun: but a fool is changed as the moon." [Ecclus. 27:12]

  • Traditional Catholic postcards are really the best.  Postal workers of false religions can see the true Jesus.

Yes. Walmart has reasonable priced cards.  (Sometimes made in USA.).

we can pray for the persecuted Christians in China.
