It has been a long time coming, but I have finally decided to close down this website, at least for a while.
Based on bishop Williamson's long history of shunning the Carmelite Sisters in Ireland, on his persistent refusal to speak to them and give them a fair chance, on his refusal to take any notice of a petition signed by 139 Catholics, on his recent request to be disassociated from the NZ priory, and on a regular occurrence of questionable EC's, I no longer trust that he is truly committed to work for the good of the Church and for the Christianization of society.
I no longer wish to support and defend either the bishop I no longer trust or the (dis)organization that takes their marching orders from him. I believe that through Tradidi I have given the bishop too much credit for too long, and I think it is time to reconsider.
But on the other hand, I do not wish to give up the fight for the Faith and to slide into apathy. I don't want to end up like the bad servant who went to burry his one and only talent, and I don't want to turn my back on those Catholics who may benefit from the little I have been able to do.
So, I will take some time out to consider my options. If anyone wants to privately advise, reprove, entreat, correct or ridicule me, I can be contacted by email (admin@tradidi.com). If anyone wants to do so in public, there are a few forums that will be happy with the extra traffic it may generate for them.
