  • The priest read a letter from Fr. Rostand, and it sure sounded like they were preparing the SSPX faithful for a deal with Rome.

    He basically told us that if Rome offers a deal, the SSPX would "have to" accept it.

    Interesting times, interesting times...

    What a shock.  As though this couldn't be seen a mile away.

    As cultural marxism spreads its influence into the lives of trads it was only a matter of time before the intellectual capacity to resist was undermined.  A group that brings in as much money as the SSPX, and is as highly centralized, was bound to become a ripe target for subversion, possible blackmail, extortion, etc.  

    As much as I dislike the SSPV, I have to admit the SSPX would be far better off decentralized.

    Same thing here - priest read the letter, then talked for about 13 seconds about it, basically said not to listen to the internet gossip.

    I wanted to hear something, but not that!
