Check out the SSPX website.
I understand their Church to be in Kentucky.
Yes, in Walton, KY.
This is the new, neoSSPX priory, funded by a wealthy garbage man.
Everyone in the clan has large noses, but they are happy there.
If you want to join this parish, you have to be willing to help-out, have a commercial truck license and be able to lift a 50lb. container over your head.
:confused1:
ETA: I am not moving to Cincinnati, but will visit.
Hopefully, your (Yellow-light) neoSSPX chapel visit it will be a pleasant experience.
Of course, the key thing is to get the Sacraments.
Please tell us your impressions about the chapel and rate the following items when you return:
1. Sermon content (solid or soft)?
2. Chapel structure & décor (Trad or NO influenced)?
3. Parishioner hospitality.
4. Bookstore inventory (content) & prices.
5. Quality of coffee and doughnuts.
Thank you.
You are coming across as a belligerent and subtly, it appears, labeling me a modernist. Did you get left off the parish mens council or something? Or are you sour because the church is now in KY and not Ohio? Do you think I am a poseur or a certain someone being disingenuous? I have family in Cincinnati I might visit soon and want a TLM and you are getting your giddies grinding an ax. What gives?
No, sorry.
I didn't intend to imply that you are a modernist.
In fact., I assumed your were in the SSPX-Resistance crowd.
Let's see what was I doing with my posts ?
Oh yeah, I was implying that this particular SSPX chapel is going liberal.
However, there are still some good folks there.
That's the reason I mentioned the "yellow light" or warning.
So, to "feel their Parish pulse", I just asked to you to give us feedback on your impressions of the Parish. That's it.
