Think more deeply - what is a psychopath

  • A psychopath is a person who uses people the way you and I USE flour, sugar, and water -- we manipulate and do what we want with them, with only our own good in mind.

I don't think about how the flour feels -- does it want to be baked? Turned into a loaf of bread or a cake? I only consider what *I* want to USE that flour for -- what is good for ME.

That is how a psychopath treats people. They are all unreal to him, like characters in a video game. Everyone else's feelings aren't real, or at least they don't matter. A psychopath doesn't care about anyone but himself.

He is content to manipulate and hurt people, cause suffering, tell lies, or whatever he has to do, as long as some good comes out of it for HIMSELF. He is eminently selfish.

A psychopath has an eminent ability to "keep his eyes on the prize" -- namely his own aggrandizement and betterment. He doesn't have to concern himself with morality, the feelings of others, or the good of others. If he wants it, if it seems to help his cause, that's as far as his thought process goes -- he pulls the trigger and does it.

Whereas a decent human being would feel bad about making a woman cry all night, for example, a psychopath wouldn't give it a second thought. He honestly wouldn't even think about it. His conscience is either very dulled (calloused) to evil, or outright broken.
