    • As far as I know only 2. Brothers Michael and what's his face.

    No priests, they receive communion from an EO place.

    Sounds more like a farm owned by 2 people who are related to each other, a family. But what do I know ?

    • Do you think the same about the other groups of "monks" and "nuns" who operate without Vatican approval such as the SSPX-friendly "monks" in New Mexico? Or do you just think that about the Dimond Brothers?

    The difference being that SSPX has valid bishops.

    The Dimonds are just a pair of convert new agers without a nod from anyone in official type of capacity.

    They are what could be called self-ordained.

    No, not all religious orders that resist are self-ordained.

    The ordinations of both the priests and the bishops in SSPX are recognized as valid by the Novus Ordo Vatican.

    I did not mean to say that they were self-"ordained" as priests, but meant to say that even though the resisting religious orders have truly ordained priests they are acting on their own authority with no permission from the Church.

    In order for a person to claim to be a member of an approved religious order, a professed member of that order must be the one to approve and accept the novice, accept him in his temporary vows and finally to hear his final vows.

    No one can self-start a religious order, and claim that they are part of the order established by the Church.  This go for any group, Dimonds or not.

    They receive the Sacraments from an Eastern Rite Catholic parish, not from an Eastern Orthodox one.

    I think that about the Dimond Brothers.  I know of no reason to regard the SSPX affiliated Dominicans, for example, as not being real fairs.  I just think the Dimonds are crazy.
