  • It certainly opens the door to problems.

Tele hasn't even talked about his SSPX chapel lately. Threads like these are just opening a can of worms.

  • That was a week ago. He has agreed to drop the issue since.

The issue isn't the girl, the issue is the way I was treated.  I don't want other Catholic men to be treated the same way.

Something tells me THIS isn't some random guest.

You used the word "interacted" - stating I only interacted with her twice.

We spoke directly to each other 5 times, before we met she held the door for me, and I held the door for her, and we thanked each other.  The second was our meeting.  The third was before her confession the next week, when she spoke to me, saying she was sorry, very upset, and after mass she did not return my hello   The fourht time, I held the door for her, after she followed me down the steps in the dark, and she thanked me.  The fifth, in the presence of the priest and her father.  And as for nonverbal "interaction" - that went on for months, often week after week in succession.

I would agree it's enough to make a Broadway Musical about it.

  • Because everyone with an ounce of sense can see that for your own good you need to understand you are obsessed with this topic and move on with your life.  Take a look at your posting history, even your recent posts about the median age of ladies marrying in the 1950s.

You are the Wizard of Was.

Your are 32 years old and still unmarried.  You don't appear to have a vocation, you don't appear to have embraced the single life and resigned yourself to being unmarried.  It is the middle of the night in the USA and you are virtually living on this forum in order to respond to a post within 10 minutes.  I am eating bacon and eggs right now and then taking my beautiful nine year old daughter to buy a bike.

And you are surrounded by a bunch of kooks and weirdos who won't tell you what that means.

Turn off the computer and start living your life.  Forget this girl, forget 18 year old, date women your own age and if they have slept around forgive them their trespasses.  We live in a wicked world, people sin.  Get over it.

  • You keep telling him to move on but you brought it up to begin with. If you want him to move on, don't bring it up. That is just common sense.

  • I must be missing something, I don't understand this entire "guest" thingy.

You mean we can all just come in here as an unregistered guest and say whatever we want, like on the, godlikeproductions site.  Look what happened there obsene language everywhere.

    This is not good!

Also, why is it when I am logged off and forget I am logged off, if I try to post something I get a note saying, sorry you have to be registered to post.  That just happened yesterday, when I wanted to give someone a thumbs up.  I coundn't because I was logged off, and forgot I was logged off.

Well that is my humble opinion for what its worth.  :geezer:
    Please pray for my soul.

I'd like to point out I didn't bring up the subject this time.  If you don't want to hear my side of the story, don't bring it up.

And don't ever expect this to be over.  Because it never will be.  Those who wrong others without any intention of restitution are not forgiven.

For pete's sake buddy, I was cheated on by my girlfriend in highschool. She then spread terrible and false accusations against me afterward. Her new boyfriend was looking for me to beat me up over a false allegation. She never apologized.

Guess what? I grew up, met my wife, got married and have 5 great kids. I have love and peace.

Everyone gets wronged in this life. Be a man, shake it off, and get on with life.

Your inability to forgive is less then Christ-like and will ultimately take you to Hell if you happen to die with this hate and rancor in your heart.

P.S: And yes, I did forgive her. Know why? Because I will not be forgiven my sins if I didn't. If you don't believe that, take it up with the LORD.

  • Matthew, I think this thread needs to be locked for obvious reasons.

And to be honest, this anonymous posting isn't going to work because now anyone can log off and impersonate other people. I know you can read guests' IP addresses to make sure that doesn't go too far, Matthew. Still though, it creates big problems.

  • I don't recall roscoe ever accusing Tele of being a victicrat.
