  • God also gave us the ability to discover medicines for Acne, and if parents cared enough for their children they would go to the trouble to find treatment if they could afford to.

This goes to the theology of suffering. Are we depriving ourselves and others of soul-saving suffering by treating medical conditions? Of course not! Good medicine helps by giving people a second chance at life, and rescues many from despair.

I have an uncle who is an old bachelor now, he had acne throughout his youth, well into his 20s.  He didn't get it treated, at least not as a young man.

It certainly is a hardship for people, and we should remember that and show them consideration.

I had a bad phase of acne as a teenager, right after my 16th birthday.  Usually my acne was sporadic, but at that time it covered my face.  When you're that age you just don't know when it's going to go away.  Yes it's a trial, but people should be hopeful it will pass, and use various treatments.  An inexpensive treatment that can be effective for mild cases is sulfur soap.

  • Acne IS something with underlying symptoms: usually means that your body desperately needs to get rid of toxic waste. One of the fastest cures would be to just not eat and drink only water and juice for about a week and let you body just flush out all the crap that has been put into it. Then, if one is wise, he take advantage of his new-found energy and become adventurous enough to look up a few Mediterranean recipes (the kind that involve 75 percent vegetables and 25 percent meat).

Speaking of which (looks at big zit on neck), I think I will soon follow my own advice....hehehe.

In regards to being a responsible man, would it be interesting to learn, after six years of accuмulating all the wisdom you could, that you had it right all alon

  • Drink plenty of water, use benzoyl peroxide or tea tree oil on the zit, wash your face everyday, don't eat a bunch of greasy food. I have found that using alcohol free astringent works well for me, but I have super sensitive skin. Also the water you bathe in has a lot to do with it, city water makes me break out, but not well water or water near the beach, humidity helps a lot for me too, but like I said, I have extremely sensitive Irish skin. lol

When I was a teenager I had a lot of acne. It was not normal teenage acne. Picture a leper. It was pretty bad.

You know you look bad if people with a reputation for kindness have difficulty concealing their revulsion.

I think it's a shame that God allows people to get acne during the years when they are first discovering the oppostite sex.

Many girls were cruel to me and would call me pepperoni face.

But the people that hurt me the most were the ones who were trying not to hurt me. I thought to myself, "If even these kind people think I look alarmingly ugly then what hope is there?"

Acne is a terrible thing, and I think that ladies should make it one of their special missions in life to seek out young men with bad acne and marry them, so that their self-esteem will improve. Society suffers when men have a low self-image, so you ladies could think of it as a sacrifice to help society.

And what's more, these young men will one day have acne-free faces and blossom into very handsome men. So you ladies could see this as an investment that pays future dividends.

    Thanks you for your time.

That's rough.  Maybe I'm wrong, but it sure seems like you're asking a lot from a girl.  Besides, "sympathy dating" always seems to end in catastrophy.

  • 1) Never pop a zit - it will scar.

    2) If you have serious acne, then it is best if you see a dermatologist about getting prescription acne cream for it. Really bad acne, if untreated, will end up scarring you.

    3) Acne is contagious. If you nick an acne bump and a little puss comes out, even just a tiny trace, and you touch it with your hand and then touch someone else or an object that another person will touch after you, they will get acne from you.

I had a weekend helper who worked for me for 3 months. She had acne and I would see her touch her face all the time. In the 3 months that she worked for me, I developed acne on my face when I had none before. After she left, my acne went away.

Same goes for touching other parts of your body after you touch your face with acne that has puss coming out of it. If you touch another part of your body after having touched your face with the pussy acne, then you will get a zit on that part of the body.

This is why it is always important to wash your hands after you touch your pimply face.
