It seems that the SSPX is following closely what the priests of the Resistance are preaching or saying. Not very long ago I heard it said that most of what Fr Chazal preached in the Philippines was wasted, because he assumed that like the French, the Filipinos were fully aware of the details of the Talks and the Crisis, when in fact they are not. Hence he left out the basic introduction required for their understanding. Hence, hardly 15% understood what he was saying. ( I don't know by what calculation they arrived at this figure!. There were in fact more figures bandied about, but I don't remember them).

Now a very senior figure is supposed to have said that Bp W "hates" the Society and is supposed to have attacked it in a 2 hour conference he gave in N.America. I asked my informant why would BpW "hate" the Society he joined and didn't want to leave?
Perhaps he hates BpF was the answer.

It seems that although the Resistance is very small at the moment, it is big enough to occupy to occupy much of the the mind of Menzingen and it's devotees.
