SSPX Processing to Novus Ordo Church (Symbolic)

  • An informed person in Minnesota relates the following to me:

Tomorrow Fr. LeRoux (Rector, SSPX Seminary in Dilwyn, VA) and Fr. Jurgen Wegner (US District Superior) will alternate Masses at St. John Vianney Chapel in Long Prairie, MN

The pretext for their visit is to attend the 25th annoversary of Corpus Christi processions at the SSPX Sister's convent just down the roan in Browerville, MN.

However, what is new this year is that the procession will finish at the local Novus Ordo church, and enter therein.

Certainly, the local Novus Ordo pastor (and almost and almost as certainly, the Bishop of St. Cloud) are informed and approving of this latest tradcuмenical initiative, by which the SSPXers who have chosen to remain blind will be led symbolically right into the conciliar church.

As Corpus Christi processions will also take place in various locations throughout the District (and world), other examples of SSPX tradcuмenism can be added to this thread.

According to my source in Minnesota, these SSPXers seem unperturbed by the diocesan/SSPX initiative.

  • Why is this thread in the anonymous sub-forum?

    Why does that matter?

  • It would get more views in the SSPX forum, and we might hear from some locals on the issue.

I am the OP, and I have no objection to someone copying/pasting the OP and creating a new thread with it in the Resistance (or other) forum.

How do we know that what you are telling us is not hearsay and gossip?

The truth is already boldly spoken.
And please don’t offend Matthew who boldly defends anonymity!
Ps: I notice you posted anonymously.  Very unmanly!

This is hilarious!!! Nine anonymous posts so far. For all know they might have been all posted by the same anonymous arguing to himself!
Anonymous accuses Anonymous of posting anonymously, and of being very unmanly! Are we in the men only subforum? No, we can't be. I'm here.

If the SSPX is a Catholic group then why shouldn't they do something like this?

This is hilarious!!!  Nine anonumous posts so far.  And not a single comment about the OP, just rebellion against Matthew's defense of anonymity and his right to have an anonymous sub-forum.  Nadir would rather grind that axe than take the OP and start a new thread......where more anonymous people with pseudonyms will post on the matter.

If I start an account and call myself Joe Blow, would you feel like you were getting more authoritative information?

Matthew has explained that the purpose of the anonymous subforum is to allow people to discuss sensitive personal issues.  It was never intended for people who do not have the courage to identify themselves with their user name when expressing their opinions on current events.  I have seen no evidence that he is offended when people complain about misuses of the subforum.  As far as I can tell, he does not like these misuses either.

That might be the dumbest post of the day (An anonymous poster calling another anonymous poster a coward, as though making up a pseudonym was a courageous move)
