The problem is that the logo is a result of modern commercial branding, a worldly, money-making, marketing for profit tactic. The main purpose of modern logos like the SSPX hearts is copyright their identity, not draw the attention to God.  The two hearts logo didn’t start out as a commercial brand, but that’s what it has turned into.
What money-making claims are you implying? I see that the SSPX just uses that emblem of the Two Hearts which originates from the Vendée. The underlying symbol is in the public domain, but digital graphics on SSPX websites are subject to their copyright. In other words, you are free to make your own graphics using the Two Hearts symbol, but not directly copy the graphics from SSPX sources without authorization.

Outside of the SSPX, NO ONE would recognize that logo as two hearts.  It's modern, and tacky.

Sadly, I agree.  Would you frame it and display it in your home?    Beautiful Catholic art, it is not!

It is the emblem of the Catholic Vendee region in France, used by the Catholic Vendee army during the French Revolution. Some would recognize it but not associate the doublet hearts with the SSPX.

I own a Vendee army flag and the double hearts are largely emblazoned on the flag.
