I just asked my daughter about who serves at Masses at Camp St. Philomena. This is not the SSPX summer camp for the girls; it is the summer camp for girls run by the CMRI at Mount St. Michael's. I think it might be safe to say that the SSPX summer camp would not be too different in this respect.
Firstly, she told me that most of the daily Masses they attend are at the main chapel of the Mount. It's a regularly scheduled Mass, so there are people there not attached to the camp at all. There are servers, either men or boys at the Mass. They have no other interaction with them.
There are some Masses they attend that are more or less exclusive to the camp. However, the camp is not in an isolated location hundreds of miles away from the nearest male of the species. She told me that they have always had either a man or a boy serving each of the Masses.
I think the opening post is concerned over a non-existent problem. These traditional Catholic summer camps run by the SSPX and the CMRI are not problematic and there is certainly no reason to believe that the priest saying Mass at either camp cannot find at least one qualified man or boy to serve Mass.
I simply do not understand why some people seem to assume the worst in every issue. It would be one thing if they were talking about the Conciliar church and a summer camp run by the Novus Ordo sect. By the way, I've got an advertisement here for CYO summer camps in Indiana. They do even have separate camps for boys and girls but, rather, "BOYS' & GIRLS' CABINS"--I presume that means separate cabins for boys and for girls, but, frankly, I don't know for sure--actually, I'm sure they have separate sleeping and toilet facilities for the boys and girls for, at least, liability issues.
