I have been saying this for quite some time now. The Florida chapels are in complete disarray. I mentioned that since Covid, most SSPX chapels in Florida were 90% Novus Ordo and got slapped down for telling the truth.
The chapel in Mami(St. Philomena) is sold. Keep in mind this chapel was willed to the SSPX by an independent priest who was found shot dead at only 55 years of age. You had people there that had been going there for 30 years. The new Church that is supposedly going to be built in Broward(Davie) is in the middle of nowhere.
The West Palm beach chapel has been under renovations for a few years with no end in sight. Thank you for the information about the Jacksonville and Ft Myers chapel going up for sale.
As far as the Sanford priory, I would not be surprised if they ditched and sold that one too. Remember they had a fundraiser last year that netted 250K to build extra space to offer more masses. That “project” has not even started. It looks like the Neo-SSPX is on a full-blown fire sale in the middle of one of the worst crises the Church has experienced.
