  • So, the title is a bit of hyperbole, but I felt it was necessary to get their attention ... vs. just "Priest Workign with the SSPX who May Not Be Valid".

I would no more overstate my position that they're certainly invalid ... that permit them to overstate theirs that they ARE valid, and I'll actually use the hyperbole to make precisely that point.  You'd be right to criticize me for asserting their invalidity, but for the same reason you cannot impose your opinion regarding validity on everyone's consciences either.

I will make that clear in the opening posts on the main page, what I mean by it ... and will also include links explaining why they're dead wrong to impose their opinion on the consciences of the faithful, and lots of other things, but those will be just links off to the side.

Mostly it'll be tracking the "Fake Priests" themselves.

  • I started this in Anonymous in case others wanted to make contributions without risking excommunication from SSPX chapels.

Excommunication is a spiritual judgment. If someone throw another out of a particular SSPX chapel, that’s a local, probably not even a civil action unless there’s a court order of protection involved.  It has no bearing on one’s spiritual condition.

It's blank. So it's not "a bit of hyperbole," it's calumny.

Great idea!  This is very much needed.  Prayers for everyone helping with it!

Oh C'mon.  You knew exactly what the poster meant.  If you didn't, then you need to stop posting and finish sixth grade.

The new-sspx using doubtful priests is a damnable offense before God.  It's a grave sin, for all involved (the "priest", the laity, the new-sspx leadership).  This is a MAJOR problem.

You click on the link, there is a page that has a picture of a satanic priest committing a sacrilege with a caption that says "SSPX Fake Priests."

Fyi, THAT'S calumny, and that is damnable.

  • A satanic priest goes to hell.  So does a doubtful one.  Members of a group (ie sspx) who allow doubtful priests and who HIDE their status from the laity, also go to hell.  Calumny involves making false statements.  Nothing false about saying doubtful priests are mortal sins.  It’s part of canon law.  Also, Pope Innocent condemned the use of “probably valid” sacraments.

You’re grossly uninformed.  This new site is made for people like you.  Avoid doubtful priests or be damned.  God does play around with sacraments.

So your website advertises that the SSPX has only satanic priests and doubtful priests - Calumny. You're grossly under catechized to think you are in the position to condemn the SSPX to hell.

You can't say you weren't warned.

  That’s not a satanic priest.  That’s a novus ordo priest wearing a Mexican-style wrestling mask.  Novus ordo priests love making fun of the mass by wearing clown/sports stuff.  Where you have been?  This has been going on since the 70s.  Visit www.novusordowatch.com for hundreds of pictures.

What is it doing there? Is the website about novus ordo? That website in the OP is saying that is an sspx priest, which is a lie no matter how much he hates sspx priests.
    You’re not making any sense.

Let's make it clearer (in case you don't know):

    1.  The new-sspx is accepting novus ordo priests (i.e. have been ordained in the 'new rites').  Just like they accepted "bishop" Huonder.
    2.  The new-sspx is NOT conditionally ordaining these "priests".
    3.  The new rites are doubtfully valid.  These "priests" are doubtful.
    4.  Canon Law prohibits using/saying/attending doubtful masses/sacraments under penalty of mortal sin (i.e. except in danger of death).
    5.  Anyone who accepts or attends masses/sacraments of doubtful priests commits a grave sin (if there's not a danger of death).
    6.  The new-sspx is committing grave sins by introducing doubtful priests into their chapels.
    7.  These doubtful priests also have doubtful seminary training and doubtful views on Tradition and doctrine, being they were trained in the novus ordo.
    8.  This site is meant to identify such doubtful priests so that Trads can avoid them and also to obey canon law, and avoid grave sins.

I'm not arguing what the SSPX is doing, although you are wrong on some of your points.
So based on all that, you figure that those points justifies you putting a satanic NO priest as being representative of the SSPX? It's a terrible, even scandalous first impression on newbies.

Since when have two wrongs made a right?
