Sspx altar boys don't kneel for the confeitor anymore?
« on: July 03, 2022, 01:01:04 PM »
I was pretty surprised that the altar boys didn't kneed to say the confeitor today.  First time I have seen this at an sspx chapel.  Anyone else notice this?

I was pretty surprised to see this in the Anonymous forum, I can't fathom how it meets the criteria for that.  At the 1962 Missal High Mass at Mary Queen of Heavan parish in Sprague, WA the altar servers knelt for the Confiteor and every other time they were suppose to.  I'm sure this is what I'll observe next Sunday when I attend a 1962 Missal High Mass at St Patrick's Parish in Walla Walla, WA.

Is it possible that the “altar boys” were actually deacon and subdeacon at a sung Mass?

If not, I have to believe the altar boys simply got confused and made a blunder, which happens.

My boys serve SSPX Masses, and they’ve never been taught such a thing. Nor have I seen such a thing anywhere in 22 years of SSPX Masses I’ve attended in 5 countries.
