I had heard Bishop Mendéz had a woman secretary, who lived at his residence to help him, who facilitated his interaction with SSPV. Why was she, "a traditionalist", working with a Modernist Vatican 2 bishop?
Miss White appears to have been a common grifter, working with the Father Jenkins Family to exploit B. Mendez. The bishop's Novus Ordo superior believed him to be suffering from Alzheimer's. The man was completely vulnerable to massive exploitation by these people. He had heart disease and a series of strokes, displayed odd and reckless behavior consistent with Alzheimer's disease. There is no doubt that he was ruthlessly manipulated by Kelly and Jenkins, as they waited until Mendez had died to announce the dubious consecration and ordinations.
It is unclear what happened with Miss White. The Mendez family sued Jenkins February 7, 1995
