  • Why don't you tell us what David Hobson thinks of JBS.

Clarence Kelly has been a high-ranking member of the masonic, Protestant, kook club, taboo for Catholics: John Birch Society. Does he still dig them?

The laypeople sure do, but a good number of them are rich former Protestants who have been "converted" to the SSPV's peculiar form of Traditional Catholicism.
Their set-up is masonic at the core.

  • The Birch Society was heavily financed by the Rockefeller's to lead Conservative
astray. The Birchers would not allow the Jєωιѕн questions to enter in any discussions.
Being anti Jєωιѕн was grounds for expulsion from the JBS. And this is why the battles
    were lost early on.
Despite 90% what they put may look good, it was all designed to lose the battles
because the media wanted to portray all conservatives as kooky.

  • Masons...  They are everywhere we look.  Those Masons are hiding in plain sight.

  • Most of the early traditionals were connected in some way with the JBS.  I've often wondered about that JBS connection.

Proof? When Robert Welch founded it, it did a great deal of good in educating people. The masonic infiltration came in the late 80s.

  • I am a traditionalist because of the John Birch society.  My grandparents and their friends were members of the Birch Society for a long time.  One of the leaders, maybe Robert Welch, although being a protestant, sent the Catholics in the group to the Archbishop.  he told the Catholics that there was at least one good Catholic Bishop fighting against the communists and the nєω ωσrℓ∂ σr∂єr. Of course, they wanted to know more and that's how it all started.

All the Birch Society members who were Catholics joined with the Society of St. Pius X as far as I know. I am the grandson of at least two of them.

  • You are right; it is not a SSPV thing.
Many SSPX-ers were and are Birchers or supported JBS.

  • OP - what is your intention here?  Pravda itself said the main opposition the Communists had/feared was the JBS.  Robert Welch became a Catholic on his deathbed.  Fact.  You must be working for the opposition if you are throwing dirt on the JBS.  It was the way in which many found out what was happening in the Church and became traditional therefore.  It is an educational organization and claims to be nothing else, whatever the impression given by the membership or anyone else.  Robert Welch was clever enough to know that if he took on the matter of Israel, the JBS would be shut down, forced out - whatever - with no further work being allowed it.  He left it to individuals to find out what was driving the Conspiracy - the Zionists - and kept the JBS afloat and in the battle.  It was founded on December 8 - and those with an appreciative eye see it as a tool Our Lady could use for the USA dedicated to her Immaculate Conception.  It's been "Tea Partying" since 1958.  Again, what is your frothing issue concerning the JBS?  Why would Rockefeller fund something that exposes his evil?

I sure hope not.  What convinced you of the SSPV's Masonic standing?

  • Yes, so far all we have seen is some bluster and hot air from this Hobson or Hobsonesque person.

Does Ladislaus frequent that hell hole? He seems to be one of their most annoying cheerleaders now.

Arrogance and mean-spiritedness is a common by-product of being mentored by their clergy.

… I am not promoting Belloc here, who I have found error in his writing.

One thing this forum certainly doesn't need is yet another self-appointed Torquemada.

Besides, why should any credit be accorded a man who can't write an intelligible English sentence containing a single dependent clause? No wonder he dismisses Belloc, whose carefully crafted sentences make him look like a fool as well as a loathsome Calvinist.
