Actually he died while in the act of giving absolution to another person who was dying. Could it be that this sudden death while performing his priestly duties could have been his salvation?
Purely subjective speculation about last minute conversions and contrition is no basis for canonization, Poche. I'm sure even you can admit that.
He died administering absolution, not shedding his blood for the Faith. What we objectively know about him is that, far from living a life of heroic virtue worthy of imitation, he identified himself as "gαy," he supported and coddled fαɢɢօts, was a member of "Dignity" (an organization that celebrates fαɢɢօtry and demands that Church teaching with respect to the Sin of Sodom be reversed), and he gave this evil organization shelter at St. Francis of Assisi, circuмventing the wishes of Cardinal O'Connor, who had banned them from the NY Archdiocese.
Objectively speaking, he was a wicked man, a deceiver of souls, an enemy of Our Lord and His Church, and a servant of the Devil. If he was a saint, then so was Judas Iscariot.
